With an integrated 802.11g wireless access point, the DL700 offers a quick and easy access among wired networks, wireless networks and broadband connection (ADSL) with single device simplicity, and as a result, mobility to the end users. In addition to 54 Mbps 802.11g data rate, the DL700 also interoperates backward with existing 802.11b equipment. The Wireless Protected Access (WPA) and Wireless Encryption Protocol (WEP) supported features enhance the security level of data protection and access control via Wireless LAN.

Along with the built-in NAT natural firewall feature, the DL700 also provides advanced hacker pattern-filtering protection. The units can automatically detect and block Denial of Service (DoS) attacks. The DL700 comes with Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) to determine if a data packet is allowed through the firewall to the private LAN.

The DL700 ADSL2+ Router’s Quality of Service capabilities give you full control over which types of outgoing data traffic should be given priority by the DL700, ensuring important data like video stream, customer information, or management information move through the router at lightning speed, even under heavy load.

In addition, the DL700 Router supports ADSL2+ Annex M, which doubles the upstream data rates. With this new feature, Telcos can create and offer business subscribers a symmetrical data service of up to 2.5Mbps, therefore providing businesses with a low-cost alternative to T1/E1 or G.SHDSL data services. Quick Eagle also offers a special firmware to support TR-069 auto-configuration systems.
