The DL3100 E3 Access Multiplexer provides a 34 Mbps E3 interface
for HSSI data terminal equipment (DTE) such as: routers,
bridges, video codecs, channel extenders, and host computers. The
unit supports one or two DTE ports, with user programmable
speeds from 358 kbps up to a maximum payload bandwidth of 34 Mbps.
The Clear Channel feature allows entire payload to be used for
data, user payload data interoperability between vendors using full
bandwidth, and point-to-point out-of-band communication to remote
DL3100 E3 Clear Channel unit.
