QUICK EAGLE NETWORKS OVERHAULS ITS ADSL2+ ROUTER PORTFOLIO

Enhancements follow latest technology trend to support demand for triple-play applications

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA – March 7, 2007 - Quick Eagle Networks, Inc., a leading provider of integrated WAN access solutions, today announced that it has made both hardware as well as software enhancements to its DL700 and DL710 ADSL2+ Routers™. The enhancements follow latest technology trends in the DSL market and encompass the support of ADSL2+ Annex M as well as improvements in the performance of the built-in wireless access point.

Quick Eagle’s DL700 and DL710 ADSL2+ Routers received a complete makeover, which included enhancements to its built-in Ethernet switch, power supply, built-in wireless card, as well as an upgrade to its Conexant chipset. The enhancements made to the chipset resulted in the support of ADSL2+ Annex M: Annex M doubles the upstream data rates. With this new feature, Telcos can create and offer business subscribers an approximately 2.5Mbps symmetrical data service, providing businesses a low-cost alternative to T1 or G.SHSDL data services.

“At Quick Eagle we are constantly seeking to enhance our products to keep up with the latest technology advancements and maintain a competitive edge,” said Naresh C. Kapahi, chief executive officer and president at Quick Eagle. “Using the latest standards such as ADSL2+ Annex M enables our customers to provide premium services to their end users.”

The revised DL700 and DL710 ADSL2+ Routers are available immediately.
